one of my 'best things i ever tasted'

ok so one of my favorite things right now is snyders pretzel sandwiches with cheese. they are so delicious and i can never eat just one. so i eat two. and then i think about it and i go back to my pantry and get two maybe three more. and then i sit and wait. it is like they are calling my name.

i also want to be on the show 'the best thing i ever tasted' or something like that. it is on food network and i always see that there will be a new show but i never get to see it. i am going to have to look it up. i really cant think of the one best thing i have ever tasted. there have been too many. how can these people just decide just like that? BUT i would still like to be on the show just so that i could taste delicious things.

heart is an organ of fire

ok so with katies encouragement :) i have decided to write something of more interest or what i think might be interesting. 

    so the other day i went home to madison, the country, the farm. i had missed mothers and fathers day and had felt very bad of doing both. well on sunday my brother and family came over to my moms house. and let me tell you --they are cute. bodie, my nephew, when he saw me, said "Megan, i want to see the cows in the water." i didnt really know what this meant, but as he kept saying it, my bro, Travis, explained.

    when i had last seen bodie, i told him of the days when i would have to cross streams and water to get the cows and that sometimes cows would be standing in the water cooling off. Well bodie took that and ran. travis said that is all he talks about. i was like ehhhh, "i hope the cows are in the water?" well they were. thank goodness and bodie loved it. so we hung out in the woods and threw rocks in the water. it was great fun. i love both my nephews, and of course my niece, but she is just a wee babe. 

  we also went and got the eggs from the chickens and saw the baby chicks. they are really cute. two of them have feathers on their head that look like a toupee. it is funny.  and bodie sat on the tractor and pretended he was hauling hay because there was a bale on it. here are a couple of pics of the chicks and home.

and then today, monday, i helped mom clean out the basement. big project. big. and then we got lunch and i came back to good ole nova, played some softball, and now am flipping from into the wild and the english patient. both excellent movies. i cant really choose between the two. but there is a quote in the english patient in which i love. it is 'new lovers are nervous and tender but smash everything for the heart is an organ of fire.' the actress says that she loves that. and i must agree.  'for the heart is an organ of fire' 

oh yeah. i played softball and got jacked in the the lower left leg with the softball while running to second on my double. yeah thats right i said double. and my leg hurts really bad. only when i move it though. only when i move it. so maybe if i stayed real still for the next few days....

and FINALLY i have placed pics on this post. it has taken forever to figure it out. oh my sweet jeez. hopefully now it will be easier...

First time blogging...

Ok. So this is my first time blogging and I dont know what I am doing. Let me see what this looks like. Ok so it is not too bad. Just a little short. I will think of more to write next time.
